I used the light to get the best out of the eyes in these images. The P70 was very close to the subject. I also used a honeycomb grid. These images were shot on F/11 with a Canon 70-200mm lens.
I think the self portrait is very strong, it speaks of your inner strength and the lighting is very effective. The way it fills the eyes makes them glow is what brings the viewer to this shot.
